So What Makes Instancy Different?
Flexible Gamification Rules
Many systems provide fixed rules for assigning gamification elements such as badges and points. The Instancy LMS provides a flexible framework to configure gamification rules according to organizational objectives and audience preferences. You can assign badges or points for learning activities within the LMS. Also, eCommerce purchases may be linked to the gamification engine and reward learners with discount coupons towards their next purchase.
Experience API (xAPI) Based Tracking
All learning activities within the Instancy LMS are tracked using the Experience API (xAPI) and saved to the Instancy Learning Record Store (LRS). The LRS data is integrated with the Instancy LMS. The Instancy gamification engine can leverage xAPI data to reward learners for a wide range of learning activities. Furthermore, the rewards are not restricted to learning activities on the Instancy platform and may integrated with external training activities as well.
Gamify eLearning, Classroom Events and Social Learning
You may choose to gamify many different types of learning activities: clicking or completing eLearning courses, videos, documents, assessments, surveys or learning paths. Learners may also earn points or badges for attending instructor-led classes. Social learning activities such as discussion forum participation, content creation or sharing may also be rewarded.

Reward learners with badges for their accomplishments. Badges encourage learners to do their best. Learners can view badges on their dashboard. Users can click on a badge icon and see which activities can earn them additional badges.
You can assign badges for formal or informal learning activities.
Use badges from a built-in badge library or import new badges into the system.
Award Points and Levels for Various Learning Activities
Enable learners to earn points through formal and informal learning activities such as course completions, online assessment scores, connecting with people, and sharing or contributing content. Points can be accumulated to reach higher goals or levels. Points and levels encourage the competitive spirit to accomplish learning or performance goals.
