Instancy Assessment Editor

Make your learning sizzle and measure learning outcomes

Instancy’s assessment and quiz authoring tool is flexible and powerful, provides remediation, recommends learning, gathers learner feedback, and helps learners meet their learning objectives. Expand the role of assessment from evaluation to personalization.

So What Makes Instancy Different?

Seamlessly Create, Deliver, Track, and Analyze Assessments

The Instancy Learning Platform enables you to seamlessly create, deliver and manage assessments. Create assessments (quizzes and online tests) using web-based editors, deliver the assessments, and track learner progress using eLearning Standards protocols like SCORM or xAPI. Integrated Dashboards and reports provide data visualizations.

Personalize Learning Through Assessments

Assessments may be used for knowledge check, but they can also be used to personalize learning. Instancy provides the flexibility to use assessments as pre- or post-learning within eLearning, classroom and virtual classroom, and certification programs. Personalize learning through conditional branching, randomization,  remediation, and recommendation rules.

Automate the Development And Reuse of Questions

Instancy assessment authoring tools provide web-based editing tools to create assessments. But what makes instructional designers and subject matter experts love the system is the ability to upload the assessments using Microsoft Excel. Build a reusable repository of questions and deliver them on the Instancy LMS platform. You may also upload the content using file formats as per IMS Question and Test Interoperability standards.

Deliver Assessments on Mobile Devices

Deliver Assessments on Mobile Devices

Since Instancy supports HTML5 publishing with dynamic resizing of content frames, you can create your assessments once and deliver them seamlessly on multiple devices; your learners can take the assessments anywhere using any mobile device.
You’ll want to see it to believe it, but the assessment screen resolution is properly adjusted to the device resolution regardless of the varying screen sizes.

Re-use Questions from Question Repositories

You can assemble a new assessment by reusing existing questions from other assessments, surveys and learning modules without creating questions from scratch.

While adding a question, you can choose to copy a question from an existing assessment or link to the original question. By copying a question, you can modify the copied one without impacting the source question. By linking to a question, you can maintain the uniformity across the assessments where the question is used. If you edit a linked question, the changes will affect all the assessments where it is used.

The questions can be browsed from the library with ease:
Search questions with keywords
Browse questions from specific Assessment by topics and sub-topics
Browse questions by question types
Re-use Questions from Question Repositories
Save Time by Bulk-importing Questions

Save Time by Bulk-importing Questions

You’ll appreciate the ability to quickly import questions in batches from a pre-defined MS-Excel spreadsheet.
