The eLearning industry is faced with the challenge of adopting a set of industry-wide standards to ensure future interoperability between eLearning platforms. This session will review and clarify the current state of standards, as well as specify the problems standards presumably will solve. Discussion will also focus on the use of learning objects and the role they play in the development of standards.
