Create SCORM-compliant eLearning Courses

Create a powerful and SCORM-compliant eLearning experience using the Instancy LCMS and Web-authoring tools which are designed to support SCORM-compliant eLearning courses. You can create a course and add pages by using pre-defined page templates. The simple WYSIYG editor helps you to visualize the page content without previewing. The rich media files like images, flash animations, interactions, and audio/video can be imported and used in your course. You can decide to create a smaller course as a Learning Module, and combine those to create a package as part of a Learning Track. You can set the completion criteria for your course. Use either progress based, such as when the learners are required to visit all the pages, or performance based where the learners are required to pass the test/assessment. You can control the course navigation by defining rules in the visual sequencing rule editor. You can let the learners navigate freely in the course, or force them to go in sequence. Also, you can remediate the learner back to any of the learning modules inserted within the course if they fail in the post-test of the course. The Instancy LCMS allows you to package the courses for both SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 support.

Import SCORM-based Courses

The Instancy Learning Management System (SCORM LMS) enables you to import SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004-based eLearning course packages into the Instancy LMS. You may edit the course meta-data and assign the courses to one or more course catalogs.

Deliver SCORM Courses on Mobile Devices – SmartPhones and Tablets

Mobile devices have limited screen size. The Instancy LCMS and authoring tools can help you create courses separately for mobile devices or adjust the web course for mobile output. Courses can be exported as SCORM packages and delivered on any SCORM-compliant LMS for mobile learning.

Deliver and Track SCORM-based eLearning Courses on Instancy LMS.

SCORM courses (1.2 and 2004) can be delivered to learners through the Instancy Web and Mobile Learning Management System. The SCORM courses communicate with the Instancy LMS when learners launch the course. Instancy supports sequencing and navigation features based on the SCORM 2004 content packaging and protocols. Using SCORM-based tracking, the Instancy LMS tracks key user data such as learner progress, completion, last access date, number of times accessed, score, and total time spent. The Administrator can generate many different reports to monitor user progress and course completion. The detailed user response for test/quiz is included in the summary report.

Export SCORM-based Courses

Produce rich and interactive eLearning courses using Instancy web authoring tools, and export the courses as a SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004-compliant package. You don’t need to worry about the technical specifications of the SCORM standards. The Instancy LCMS makes the course SCORM compliant which enables you to upload the zipped SCORM package to any third-party LMS and launch successfully. When the course is launched from a LMS, the course will report completion status, score, start/end date, last access date, and total time spent to the LMS.
