Characters |
| Talking/animated
characters add engagement to your eLearning and Multimedia
presentations. Talking/animated characters may be synchronized
with digital audio files along with automated lip movement
to provide realistic speech effects. Instancy provides
an authoring tool to create a talking character simply
from a .wav file. This tool generates a shockwave
(.dcr) file which can be incorporated into an e-Learning
course. |

Types of
characters include:
- Illustrative
- Photo-realistic (created from a digital
picture)
Instancy can provide stock characters or assist in
creating custom characters. In addition, it includes
a ‘Character Creator’ tool to create new
characters

Talking characters may
play the role of a coach, mentor, or may be used within
soft-skills role-playing scenarios. In this example
eLearning course, an illustrative character is used
as a narrator to explain the concepts.
